Bovinos Steakhouse Playa del Carmen

"Was okay, not great. For nearly 4000 pesos for 2 people I expected to have a better quality of food. The meat selection is vast but the quality is average at best. Same for the salad bar. I was quite surprised that our dinner options did not come with any into options. Only white and rose which not the greatest of pairings with red meat. Lastly there were 2 practices by the staff I found rather distasteful. 1. The waiter would not stop staring at us as we were finishing. Come by every 2 minutes or so. We did not enjoy the feeling of being rushed. 2. The waiter who collected payment would not pass me the machine to pay and instructed me to announce my tip % to the table while he, the server and all were watching. I tip well always so there was no shame from this but it's a poor business practice that leaves customers feeling uncomfortable. You can do a lot with 4000 pesos. Not so sure this place should be one of them."

"Estuvo rico, el mesero Jesús nos atendió muy excelente! Y se preparó un maravilloso carajillo. La única persona que no me agradó mucho su actitud fue la primera mesera/ hostes que nos guió a la mesa, nos hizo caras como desagrado y considero que eso fue un poco de falta de respeto como discriminando pero la verdad Jesús cambió el ambiente al atendernos.
