The Spanish restaurant Centro Castellano is located in the historic center of Mexico City, on the street of Uruguay. If you are looking for a restaurant in the historic center that will transport you to medieval times, this is the place to be; its construction is inspired by Castilian architecture. Among embedded barrels, whitewashed walls, masonry and murals of glazed and painted tile, and a plethora of photographs that bear witness to the visit of hundreds of Mexican and foreign personalities, it fulfills daily the initial dream of its founder, Don Ricardo: to offer the best of Spanish cuisine to the diners who come in every day. The abundance of dishes that make up the menu of this place has made it famous. Get ready to delight yourself with delicious typical Spanish dishes. Open up your appetite with a fine 'Spanish Manchego Cheese'. Or some 'Strips of Seabass in the Mediterranean'. Continue with a light 'Ricardo Salad', made with spinach, tomato, onion, mushrooms, avocado, and crutons with Spanish vinaigrette. How does a 'Marrow Soup' sound?, try it in a tomato broth with epazote, you will not regret it. There is also the delicious 'Walnut Cream'. For seafood lovers, we recommend the famous 'Basque or Castilian Style Sea Bass Wheel'. Save room for the 'Prawn Skewer', check availability for this dish with your waiter depending on the season. From the 'Spanish Classics', try the authentic 'Valencian Fideua'. There are also options for meat lovers, from this section you cannot miss the 'Roasted Adobo Kid'..
