The food was excellent but our service was not. First, our server offered us complimentary shots of Don Julio to celebrate our anniversary, but when we received the bill we noticed we were charged for them. He also added more gratuity for himself than the 20% I agreed to add, despite the slow service. There were multiple drink orders we never received and requests that were ignored. Again, the food was good (although our ribeye was served quite rare instead of the medium rare we ordered), but the service took away from our experience. We visit Cancun every year and eat at many restaurants in the Rosa Negra group including Tora, Taboo, and Chambao, but will likely not be returning after this experience.
Amazing service! 10 out of 10. Highly highly highly recommend!
